About Us
The goal of Green-Compute.com is to raise the awareness of Green Computing Issues. We will be highlighting the dangers we see while encouraging the positive steps being made by the various stakeholders in the industry. These include manufacturers, consumers, legislators, and like-minded organizations and individuals. We will present material that raises the consciousness and encourages responsible, well-considered choices in the manufacture, use, and disposal of electronic devices. We hope to set up an on-going dialogue about how we can best move forward in a balanced way that preserves the planet.
Green-Compute.com is a collaborative project of two computer industry veterans with a mutual concern for the environment and an interest in new and upcoming technologies. Each remains professionally active and concerned with green computing issues. Their real world experience will be used to help inform you of the current trends and concerns of green computing.
